Erica Hatrick, ATR, LPC, C-DBT
Registered Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor,
Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapist
Hi, I'm Erica! I'm a licensed professional counselor, art therapist, and certified dialectical behavior therapist with a decade of experience in the mental health field. I hold both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Albertus Magnus College, where my research focused on the benefits of holistic approaches to stress reduction. My thesis, "Using Classical Music with Art-Making for Stress Reduction," exemplifies my commitment to holistic well-being.
Throughout my career, I have contributed my skills in various settings, including the Milford public school system, Connecticut Hospice, disability services, and facilities for at-risk youth.
In my private practice, I specialize in working with teenagers and adults, guiding them through life transitions, fostering confidence, and aiding in identity exploration. At the core of my work is the privilege of witnessing individuals as they delve into their inner selves and find the path forward with newfound confidence and intention. My approach excels in the fusion of clinical therapy with holistic practices to facilitate insight, personal growth, and healing.

In addition to my clinical training, I hold certifications in Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Practitioner Levels 1 and 2, as well as Mastery of Awareness - Shamanism 101. I'm a mixed media artist with a love for all things expressive. I enjoy concerts, podcasts, documentaries, reading, shopping, animals, and spending time with loved ones.
